Logitech Experience Center in Gulshan
Logitech has set up its first Experience Center in Bangladesh at Taher Tower at Gulshan-2 intersection. Logitech Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. South Asia Frontier Market Head Parth Ghosh inaugurated this concept store by cutting the ribbon on level one of the tower on Thursday. At this time, South Asia Frontier Markets Marketing Manager Priyank Mandiratta, Logitech Bangladesh Channel Management Head Ariful Islam Chaudhuri, Channel Manager Sharif Uddin, Accounts Specialist (Etail and Emerging Channel) Siami Binte Belayet were present.
Talking to the media workers after the inauguration, Parth praised Bangladesh's youth and technology and said, Shaikh Siraj's vlog on agriculture impressed him. “I think, there is great potential in agricultural technology in this country. Technology has great potential in socio-economic development of Bangladesh. 70 percent of the total population of this country has immense potential. They are used to zoom calls, whatsApp calls, video calls in the Covid pandemic. GDP has increased substantially. To be a part there, Logitech created an opportunity to give this touch and feel to increase the market”, he added.
In response to a question, Parth also said that there is no plan to set up a factory in Bangladesh. He said that, since during the warranty period, if the defects of Logitech peripherals occur, new products are exchanged instead of old ones, so they are not doing service centers even. After their massive expansion in video calling in Bangladesh, they will now focus on gaming peripherals.
